I doubt this is relevant to people who are familiar with my work, but since I'm trying to post here more regularly and get my art in front of some new people, I wanted to address AI art. In light of deviantART's disappointing decision to embrace AI art and the front page having a discouraging amount of AI stuff being suggested to me, I feel I should point out that I want absolutely nothing to do with AI-generated art. Twitter has been going through some chaos so I'm gonna be posting more often elsewhere, but when I went to post about commission openings here on DA, the first thing I saw suggested to me was a bunch of AI-generated adoptables. The concept of an AI-generated adoptable being sold for actual money is incredibly offensive to me, an artist who spends many hours coming up with original character designs out of my own creativity, and putting in many hours of actual labor to illustrate them with respect for other artists' legitimate work.
